Avion Group appoints Erik Varwijk as new CEO

Avion Group has appointed Erik Varwijk as its new CEO, replacing Bart Slager, as the firm aims to bring global growth to the company. Varwijk brings many years of airline experience, having worked as managing director and member of the managing Board of KLM, member of the Air France KLM group executive committee and EVP commercial at Virgin Atlantic. Commenting on his appointment, Varwijk said: “Avion Group has launched the state-of-the-art Airbus Phantom 320 Full Flight Simulator and I look forward to bringing cost efficient and effective pilot training to the doorsteps of our customers.” Also, Barry Miedema has been
