Every year Airline Economics recognises the best and brightest young talent in the aviation finance and leasing community with its list of the foremost 40 individuals aged under 40 years of age.

Nominations for the Airline Economics 40 under 40 Class of 2024 ARE NOW OPEN.

Nomination guidelines:

All nominations must be submitted using this digital form and must be accompanied by a high resolution photo  (300dpi), up-to-date biography/resume, and at least one endorsement from an aviation industry executive.

Nominations from senior managers from relevant aviation sector companies are encouraged to submit nominations but they must also arrange for endorsements from industry executives, which must be sent independently by the endorser. Self-nominations – i.e. individuals who put their own name forward for consideration – are not accepted.

Nominees who have appeared in previous lists are allowed to appear again but their inclusion will be based on the strength of their achievements over the past year. Please note, given the very high demand for places on the 40 under 40 list and the desire of the Airline Economics team to promote the very best new talent in the industry, multiple appearances must be based on significant achievements over the past year.

All nominees must be under 40 years of age 1 July 2024.

For the past eight years, Airline Economics has awarded the Future Leader award to the person with the most impressive comments from clients.

Only candidates that have been shortlisted will be contacted. The decision of the Airline Economics’ team is final.

Any information provided should be suitable for publication unless specifically and clearly indicated as confidential.

The deadline for submissions for the 40 under 40 Class of 2024 is 1 June 2024.

The final list will be published in the September issue of Airline Economics magazine. Winners will celebrate with their colleagues and clients at the gala dinner held in London at The Guildhall, on the evening of Monday 9th September 2024, during the Growth Frontiers London conference taking place at Central Hall Westminster on 9-10 September 2024.
