AVIATION 100 AMERICAS AWARDS 2023

The Americas aviation industry recovered rapidly from the depths of the global pandemic, with traffic levels surpassing those in 2019 in the second quarter. Driven by the robust demand for international travel from the US, the America’s region traffic performance for the second quarter is now only 2.1% below 2019 levels (measured in RPKs). Latin American carriers have seen a slower rebound but traffic is now closer to pre-pandemic levels sitting 8.5% below 2019 numbers. The outlook is positive for the entire North American region that has continued to grapple with economic and geopolitical challenge not least countering the recent rise in fuel prices. Challenges remain but the trajectory looks good for all aviation companies for the near-term future. But which companies located in the Americas region deserve to be awarded for their efforts and performance over the past 12 months to October 1, 2023?

The Airline Economics Aviation 100 Americas Awards recognises the year’s most outstanding performers in the commercial aviation industry in the Americas region.

The survey, launched today, asks the industry to share its opinions for the best performing airline, lessor, MRO, parts company, bank and law firm, operating in the Americas, during the 12 months to October 1, 2023. We also ask you to nominate the foremost CEO/Industry Leader and CFO/Treasury Team in the region.
