Archer Aviation, developer of the Midnight eVTOL (electric vertical takeoff and landing craft), has signed a multi-hundred-million-dollar investment agreement to accelerate its planned commercial air taxi services in the United Arab Emirates. Collaborating with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), Archer will work to consider vertiport construction, the operational enablement for eVTOLs in the UAE, and in-country manufacturing of Archer’s aircraft.
