On April 1, 2022, the UK’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) celebrated its 50th anniversary. The Civil Aviation Authority was formed as part of the Civil Aviation Act 1971 with regulation of aviation previously being the responsibility of the Air Registration Board and the Board of Trade.
