Melbourne Airport recorded its highest passenger numbers for international travellers in almost three years since pandemic restrictions in December 2022. The airport recorded 766,439 international travellers, almost 120,000 more than November 2022 and 71% of December 2019. Melbourne airport recorded total footfalls of 2,635,925 passengers in December 2022, which is 79% of 3,332,940 passenger footfalls recorded in December 2019.
