French manufacturer Safran has named Nicolas Potier vice resident, support & services of Safran Aircraft Engines. The appointment was made on February 1, Safran said in a February 21 announcement. Former civil servant Potier, 40, will join the company’s executive committee, replacing François Planaud, who is retiring. Potier joined Safran in 2012 and was named director of services operations in 2016 and in 2019 was named executive vice president of the systems and equipment section of Safran Landing Systems.
