China Eastern Airline will launch a new direct flight between Shanghai and Marseille, France on July 2, 2024. The service will be operated by its subsidiary Shanghai Airlines, with three roundtrips per week. The flight route launches ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympics where Marseille will host sailing events between July 28 and August 8.
