In May, Boeing delivered 17 aircraft compared to just four in May 2020. Two 787 deliveries were made, compared to none last year but down from nine delivered in April since deliveries for the aircraft type were halted for a second time. Boeing made 10 MAX deliveries in May compared to four in April as the FAA approved the fix to the electrical issue. Boeing’s net orders reached 20 in May, with 73 gross orders and 53 incremental cancellations. In the year to date, Boeing has received 97 net orders.
