Brookfield Asset Management (Brookfield) has acquired a 51% stake in Castlelake’s fee-related earnings. Castlelake is an asset manager specialising in asset-based private credit including aviation and specialty finance. The amount of capital to be invested will be approximately $1.5bn, including capital to be invested in Castlelake’s investment strategies by Brookfield Reinsurance.
