AerCap signed financing transactions for $1.6bn in first quarter

AerCap signed financing transactions for approximately $1.6bn in the first quarter of 2024. Additionally, the company repurchased approximately 4.3 million shares, at an average price of $77.89 per share, for a total of approximately $336 million. Throughout the first quarter, AerCap signed 82 lease agreements, including six widebody aircraft, 40 narrowbody aircraft, 26 engines, and 10 helicopters. It completed 21 purchases for six engines, two helicopters, and 13 aircraft; and completed 49 sales transactions for 35 aircraft, 13 engines, and one helicopter.
