Ryanair passenger numbers are up 13% in 2023 with 181.8 million travellers versus 160.4 million the previous year. The airline also saw its load factor increase from 92% in 2022 to 94% in 2023. With over 72,500 flights in December, Ryanair saw a 9% rise in passengers from the year prior with 12.54 million passengers in 2023 and 11.52 million passengers in 2022. The significant increase comes despite the pressure placed on the airline by the Israel-Hamas conflict, with over 900 flights cancelled in response.
