An interline agreement has been signed between Qatar Airways and Greece-based Sky Express with immediate effect. Qatar Airways Group chief executive Akbar Al Baker said: “With the largest domestic network in Greece, this agreement with Sky Express significantly increases our ability to connect global travellers with iconic destinations throughout Greece and reinforces our commitment to supporting the nation’s tourism industry.” Qatar Airways has been operating to Athens since June 2005, and in 2015 increased its service to the Greek capital from twice daily to three times daily to meet growing demand, the airline said.
