US carrier Delta Air Lines said it would be restarting its service to Havana with two daily nonstop flights from Miami. The first of the resumed twice-daily flights are to take off on April 10 2023, the carrier said. Flights were put on hold in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic and associated travel curbs. They had been in operation for four years, resuming in 2016 after a 55-year hiatus due to US sanctions on Cuba.
