Delta Air Lines in talks with Airbus for widebody order

Delta Air Lines is currently in talks with Airbus regarding a major widebody order in near future, sources claim. The airline is planning to replace its older ageing fleet with new twin-aisle aircraft in addition to increasing capacity post pandemic. It is said that the new order of widebody jets is mainly due to an increase in the transatlantic as well as international travel post-pandemic. As compared to Q1 of 2022, Delta Air Lines has increased seats on international routes by over 20%. “Additionally, 75% of all global seats are already booked,” said Glen Hauenstein, president, Delta Air Lines. “We
