Maastricht Airlines has postponed its planned launch due to further delays in the delivery of its planned fleet of two ex-Air Baltic Fokker 50s. The new airline was scheduled to launch from March 25 with flights to Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS), Berlin Tegel (TXL) and Munich Franz Josef Strauss International (MUC). However the May 1 dealdine was now also no longer tenable since neither of the F50s would be available. Hamid Kerboua, CEO of the new airline, says that the company is doing “everything possible to secure aircraft in order to start operations as soon as possible”.
