AIX Connect, previously known as AirAsia India, is all set to launch 21 new flights from the Indian city of Surat, Gujrat to multiple locations across India with an aim to capture the domestic market. The airline will commence direct daily flights connecting Surat with Delhi, Bangaluru and Kolkata from March 3, 2023. Surat is the second largest city in Gujrat and well-known for diamond cutting and polishing industry. AIX Connect is eyeing the market-segment of both tourists’ businessmen that visit the city for its tourist attractions like temples, gardens and museums.
