After many years of delays, Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) is finally set to be operational on October 31, 2020. The airport was originally scheduled to open nine-years-ago but has faced many delays. Originally scheduled to open in March 2011, the airport set 10 planned starting dates and its initial budget, which stood at €2.83 billion, has now reached over €7 billion.
