Airbus has begun notifying airlines of delivery delays affecting new aircraft, reports Reuters, citing industry sources familiar the matter. This could push back deliveries previously scheduled for late 2024 and parts of 2025 by several months. Cirium Ascend Consultancy describes Airbus deliveries as being off to a ‘slow start’ in 2024 (with deliveries totalling 29 in January), although this figure still represented an increase of nine units from the same month last year.
