Vietnam will soon have nine additional airports by 2050 according to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)’s plans to boost the civil aviation sector. The CAA has proposed the Ministry of Transport add nine airports to the national airport planning for 2030 with a vision to 2050. The proposed airports are in Ha Giang, Yen Bai, Tuyen Quang, Ha Tinh, Kon Tum, Quang Ngai, Khanh Hoa, Dak Nong, and Tay Ninh provinces. Going ahead, the CAA has urged the local authorities to set up feasibility reports and capital-raising plans for building the airports, adding that the State budget would not provide
