Boeing and CAE ink pilot training deal

Boeing has inked a deal with CAE with CAE becoming Boeing Authorised Training Provider. As a part of the deal, CAE will implement Boeing’s CBTA (Competency-Based Training and Assessment) curriculum enabling easier access for international customers. “Boeing and CAE are working together to enhance aviation safety, and this agreement gives more pilots access to the technology and curriculum through which they acquire the skills and knowledge for peak performance in the flight deck,” said Marc Parent, president, CAE.  The new training focuses on the development and evaluation of skills essential for keeping pilots safe in commercial air transport.
