US airlines, represented by Airlines for America, has requested that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) extend the waiver for minimum flight requirements at New York City airports by a year. The waiver’s current deadline is set to expire in October, 2o24. The letter was seen and reported on by Reuters.
