American Airlines (AA) and British Airways (BA) are co-locating to Terminal 8 at John F. Kennedy International (JFK) Airport in New York as part of a joint US$400 million investment in the new terminal. A joint statement by the airlines said that their move, which takes effect on December 1, “marks the completion of the first phase of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s redevelopment of the airport”. According to the airlines, the new JFK T8 features “key operational enhancements” such as “five new widebody gates, four new widebody parking positions, and an expanded and upgraded baggage
