United Technologies has announced it expects 2011 revenue to fall short of Wall Street expectations, even though sales are up across its subsidiary businesses apart from Pratt & Whitney. The firm said it expects to earn between $5.05 and $5.35 per share in 2011, with revenue of $56 billion to $57 billion. However Wall Street had been expecting earnings of $5.30 per share and revenue of $57.07 billion. United Technologies share price fell on the news by nearly 3% to $75.35.
