In 2022, European airframe manufacturer Airbus delivered 661 commercial aircraft to 84 customers and received 1,078 gross new orders. Ahead of announcing a backlog of 7,239 aircraft on January 10, Airbus had earlier conceded it would not meet its 2022 production target. “In 2022 we served 84 customers with 661 deliveries, an increase of 8% compared to 2021.
