Arizona-based Universal Avionics (UA) has obtained a Technical Standard Order (TSO) authorisation from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for its Aperture visual data management platform. The official green light “clears the way for initial delivery of the system for enhancing safety and improving decision-making for flight crews and mission specialists”, the company said.
