ST Engineering receives EASA certification for cabin lavatory solutions

Marking a major milestone, the commercial aerospace business of ST Engineering received the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for its cabin lavatory solution. The cabin lavatory solution named ACCESS is currently designed for installation on the Airbus A320 family. ACCESS is the world’s first lavatory solution that can be expanded to bring about 40% more space to accommodate a passenger in a wheelchair and an accompanying caregiver.
