The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has announced an agreement with US government space agency NASA “to collaborate on initiatives to plan the next generation of flight within the complex airspace of the port district”. The authority oversees five airports, including Newark, LaGuardia and JFK, part of why oi was chosen by NASA to look into how urban air mobility could be operated. “For more than a century, the Port Authority has been a leader in applying new ideas in order to make better and more efficient use of resources, brainpower and infrastructure,” said Chairman Kevin O’Toole,
