Embraer’s Phenom 300MED aircraft has received a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the Brazilian manufacturer announced. The Phenom 300MED, Embraer said, is “a unique Medevac [emergency medical evacuation] solution for the Phenom 300 series aircraft” and offers “a fully-comprehensive medical solution”. “We are pleased to announce the certification of the Phenom 300MED by the FAA and EASA,” said Marsha Woelber, vice-president of worldwide executive jets customer support and aftermarket sales, Embraer services and support.
