Around 20% of January 19 flights out of Paris-Orly have been cancelled due to strikes protesting French government proposals to increase the retirement age from 62 to 64 and reform pensions. The airport said there were “many delays and cancellations” and advised that public transport to the airport had been “strongly disrupted”. Passengers were advised to both check the available public transport to the airport and to check the status of their flight with the airline.
