Stephen Hillier has been reappointed as chair of the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) by the secretary of state for transport Mark Harper, extending his term for four more years until July 31, 2028. “The past four years were an extremely challenging time for aviation,” said Harper, “with Sir Stephen’s knowledge and experience proving invaluable.” “I look forward to continuing our work focusing on safety, security, and consumer interests as we protect people and enable the development of aerospace,” said Hillier.
