Law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has promoted aviation-focused banking and finance lawyer Alex Blaney to partner. London-based Blaney works with lenders and aircraft leasing companies on national and international aircraft finance, lease and trading transactions, the company said, adding that its new partner has worked closely with many leading aircraft leasing companies, financial institutions and has a deep understanding of client requirements, structuring techniques, enforcement analysis and cross-border restructurings. Blaney’s promotion came after the company named George Paterson, an aviation finance lawyer, as its global banking head.
