Air Canada appoints new directors

Air Canada has announced that all of the nominees listed in the management proxy circular dated March 24, 2014 were elected as directors of Air Canada at the company’s Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders on Thursday, May 15. At the meeting, shareholders also ratified the renewal of Air Canada’s shareholder rights plan originally adopted by Air Canada’s Board of Directors on March 30, 2011, and amended and restated on March 27, 2014.
