MYAirline has signed Honeywell to support the maintenance of its auxiliary power units (APUs) installed on its Airbus A320 fleet. As a part of the deal, Honeywell will also provide annual maintenance cost plans and predictive trend monitoring programmes. Honeywell is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the 131-9A APU which it claims is regarded as the best in its class, with high performance, reliability, and lower maintenance costs that result in significant fuel savings.
