Lufthansa Technik Philippines (LTP) has completed its first 12-year check on an A380 aircraft. After completing the extensive work package, the A380 was sent to Germany to return to Lufthansa Airlines’ fleet. Various large aircraft components were completely replaced or temporarily dismantled as part of the check, including the more than 500 passengers seats removed and later reinstalled to provide adequate access for the checks.
