Jet2 plc selects CFM’s LEAP 1A engines for its future A320 fleet

Jet2 plc it has selected CFM International’s advanced LEAP-1A engines to power its further order for up to 71 new Airbus A320 NEO/A321NEO family aircraft, of which 35 are firm orders. The agreement includes spare engines and a long-term services support agreement, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2028. Commenting on the order, Philip Meeson, Executive Chairman, Jet2 plc said: “We are delighted to further develop our 20-year partnership with CFM, which has supported our continuous success and growth since the beginning. The introduction of the fuel-efficient LEAP engine in our fleet, combined with our major investment in UK SAF production
