Alaska Airlines aircraft maintenance technicians, maintenance controllers and other maintenance support personnel have ratified a new contract with the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA) following 12 months of negotiations. The new agreement includes ‘significant improvements such as increased pay, retirement contribution increases, and quality of life improvements,’ says the airline. Alaska Airlines CEO Ben Minicucci added that “this contract reflects the critical contributions of our technicians, improves their quality of life, and reinforces Alaska’s foundation for long-term success”. The previous contract with AMFA became amenable in October 2023.
