Air Zimbabwe has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for the sale of four retired aircraft and an additional four lots of spare parts. Participation in the bidding process is open to domestic and international bidders. Two 737-200s are described as having been partially parted out, while two BAE146s are listed as ‘shells’. A variety of additional BAE146 obsolete rotable and consumable spares are also available, as is a 707 thrust reverser rig and additional multi-aircraft obsolete spares. Successful buyers will have 21 days to collect the assets from Harare Airport.
