AAR hires Hoferer to head repair and engineering division

AAR has named ex-GE Aerospace exec Tom Hoferer as vice president of repair and engineering services. “Most recently, he served as President of GE Aerospace’s Unison Industries, a global leader in aviation performance solutions”, AAR said of Hoferer, who in turn said he has “long admired AAR’s commitment to quality and safety” and promised to apply his “vast aviation experience” to his new role. “I am excited to welcome Tom to the AAR team.
