Continental Airlines has stated it has reached a labour contract with some 7,000 fleet-service employees, represented by the Teamsters union. The union will hold a ratification vote on the new contract soon. Details of the new contract were not disclosed although Scott Dolan, the senior vice president of airport operations at the airline’s parent company United Continental Holdings, described the deal as “fair to our co-workers and fair to the company.”
