Nordic Aviation Capital makes two senior hires

Nordic Aviation Capital has appointed Gareth Halpin as chief funding officer, effective April 6. Halpin will be based out of NAC’s newly opened Headquarters in Limerick and will report to the company’s chief executive, Søren Overgaard. Halpin has over 25 years of experience in the aviation and financial services industry. Most recently, he was group treasurer and head of capital markets at Avolon. In this role he was responsible for raising more than USD25 billion in debt in a variety of banking and public markets globally, including more than USD10 billion of acquisition finance for the CIT acquisition.
