Mizuho has entered into a joint venture with an Ping An to form the newly-named leasing company Clover Aviation Capital. The existing senior management team will remain in place with Joe Ye Tian at the helm as chief executive officer.  With its new equity injection, the team has the mandate and the ability to build its asset portfolio, which sources say it is forging ahead with. The deal is reported to have closed and will be announced officially soon.
