Jet Airways board is meeting today to approve the company’s earnings and to discuss a recapitalisation plan to appease the lessors that have not been paid since October 2018. MC Aviation Partners is among the several aircraft lessors, which has publicly stated that it may repossess its 737-800 aircraft, if the airline doesn’t come up with a viable recapitalisation plan. The Indian aviation regulator, the DGCA, is reviewing Jet Airways flights’ schedule every 15 days to ensure there are no sudden flight disruptions due to grounding of four aircraft for non-payment of dues.
