Falko acquires four DH Q400NG aircraft on lease to Ethiopian Airlines

Falko Regional Aircraft (Falko) has acquired four de Havilland Q400 NextGen aircraft, purchased from Aergo Capital, on lease to Ethiopian flag carrier Ethiopian Airlines. The four aircraft represent the first transaction with the carrier to be purchased on behalf of Falko’s managed fund, Falko Regional Aircraft Opportunities Fund II. The lessor notes that ‘with the Q400 well-suited to Ethiopian’s mission profile and operating environment, it is expected to be a long-term operator of this aircraft type’.
