Gatwick Airport’s full year revenue was up 30.7% to £1bn ($1.27bn) in 2023, driven by a continual post-pandemic recovery of passenger numbers. It noted that passenger numbers were up 24.7% from 2022 to 40.9 million travelling through the airport; reaching 88% of pre-pandemic (2019) levels. In particular, recovery peaked in both July and October where passenger numbers reached 94% of 2019 levels.
