Airbus has decided to no longer pursue discussions with IT company Atos on the acquisition of its big data and security (BDS) business line. A spokesperson for Airbus said: “Airbus’s decision followed the due diligence process launched early 2024.” Atos said in a statement that it is “analysing the resulting situation and actively evaluating strategic alternatives”. Atos notified that it is rescheduling its 2023 earnings release to accommodate time for the evaluation of strategic options.
