Airbus confirmed it had delivered 45 of its narrow and wide-bodied aircraft in September, brining its yearly total to date to 380. The manufacturer booked 78 orders last month, bringing total orders for year to 379, and a net order tally of 328 excluding cancellations. It’s full year goal is 500, which seems set to hit. Boeing’s year to date delivery figure, however, is 308 aircraft. The US manufacturer figures have been hit by delays to the 787 production program. Boeing’s full year target is 465 aircraft.
