Oman Air is planning to introduce its first freighter towards the end of 2023. The airline recently took delivery of one Boeing 737 MAX 8. The airline currently operates a fleet of 12 B737-MAX 8. Meanwhile the carrier posted encouraging financial results for 2022. Speaking at an annual cargo workshop, Abdulaziz Al Raisi, Oman Air’s Chief Executive Officer said: “In spite of a challenging environment, Oman Air Cargo continues to deliver numbers ahead of its budget.” The airline reported 86% increase in its revenue in 2021 and 44% revenue increase in 2022, exceeding its budget revenue by 37%.
