The International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the Smart Freight Centre (SFC) have announced a partnership to provide what IATA terms ‘consistent and transparent C02 emissions calculations for air cargo shipments’, working together to develop the cargo component of IATA’s C02 Connect offering. “Our partnership with the Smart Freight Center will help us to accelerate the development of CO2 Connect for air cargo as the most authoritative tool for carbon calculations.
