BlueDart Aviation to acquire two ex-SpiceJet B737-800F

Blue Dart Aviation, India is all set to acquire two B737-800F from DHL Express after securing a unanimous shareholder approval. The two aircraft are reportedly ex-SpiceJet as per sources. The airline retired these aircraft in August 2022, when the airline revamped its SpiceXpress fleet with three B737-700. Blue Dart Aviation had sought shareholder consent to acquire two B737-800 freighters in November 2022. At that time, it estimated the total cost of the transaction to be approximately $50 million. Almost 85.1% of all shareholders and 99.9% of voting shareholders voted in favour of the transaction as per the December 23, 2022
